Resource modeling of RNC & BSC:
Daily 12% 3G mobile data traffic loss were prevented by successfully forecasting user movement towards certain regions during COVID-19 pandemic.
Made a model of Neural Network to find out which parameters are impacting most on RNC & BSC’s MP load.
With the prediction of RNC utilization, rehome of sites was triggered to optimize RNC resources.
Abis over IP solution was finalized and rolled-out in 43 Ericsson BSC & 21 Huawei BSC.
MSC, SGSN & HLR Virtualization:
11 MSC & 6 SGSN were virtualized successfully within 5 months. All RNC & BSC were integrated in virtual MSC & SGSN without any KPI degradation.
3 legacy HSS databases (total 66M capacity) were migrated to 2 new virtual HSS with less than 100 customer complaints within 3 months.
Specialist, Radio Network Planning (September 2016 - December 2018)
LTE Roll-out Project:
66% capacity were increased by dynamic spectrum sharing of 5MHz frequency at non-busy hours.
Built machine learning clustering model to identify high potential 7000 sites to provide the best LTE coverage in Bangladesh.
Optimized radio network Nodeb's & eNodeb's parameters & capacity due to continuous evolving customer base using time-series forecast.
Handled customer complain tickets and mapped with spatio-temporal data model to propose the most efficient solution.
Finalizing end-to-end eNodeB solution for 3 MHz LTE in 900 band as well as 10MHz LTE in 1800 band.
Re-farming 3 MHz & 10 MHz from 900 & 1800 band spectrum respectively and achieved target KPI.
Robi-Airtel Merger Project:
Collaborated with stakeholders & cross-functional teams to integrate 4500 sites in existing network & maintain baseline KPI during Robi-Airtel merger project, the biggest merger project of Bangladesh.
As Radio part project lead, successfully planned configuration data for more than 4500 BTS & NodeB. Site Investigation Report(SIR) of all sites were also checked in parallel for the Physical parameters.
Among 24 domestic re-homing in all Bangladesh, 20 are done up to June 2017 and each of them was successful in term of customer latching and customer complaints were lessen more than 29 percent. Used Xeda tool to solve customer complains.
After domestic re-homing, target KPI was met for new sites along with cluster within 5 days.
Lead 23 RF Engineers successfully to complete each phase of domestic re-homing. Communicated effectively with other departments to make Merger of Robi & Airtel successful.
Indoor Based Coverage Solution:
Planned and implemented more than 70 IBS system with Repeater and BTS solution within 5 months. Also met the required KPI by optimizing its Physical and soft parameters.
