Exciting excursion to the Dead Sea, the planet’s lowest point on dry land. See location of Dead Sea on the map.
Experienced the incredible buoyancy in the salt water.
Toward the end of the afternoon, return to Jerusalem. To fly back to Manila the next day.
The Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth at 430.5 meters (1412 feet) below sea level.

The extremely high concentration of dissolved mineral salts in the water causes the water to be denser than that of plain fresh water. Since our body weight is lighter (less dense) than the density of the water, our body is more buoyant in the Dead Sea, making it easy to float.
Note: Got splashed into the eyes twice - had to wash my eyes right away with fresh water (from nearby shower) as the high-mineral concentration of the Dead Sea water was very irritating to the eyes.
Mud of salts.
The Dead Sea has significantly high salt content, which makes it a source for rock and sea salts.
Coconut with a price of P500 (did not buy).

It is located in the Jordan Rift Valley, bordered by Israel to the East and Jordan to the West.
The original or other name is Salt Sea, so called because of its significantly high salt content, which makes it a source for rock and sea salts.
It is called “Dead Sea”, as the waters were devoid of all life-forms, whether plants or living creatures, as they cannot survive in water which is nearly 10 times saltier than most oceans.
