Best 4 out of last 5 nine hole scores as compared to the course rating. A running total of scores is logged throughout the season.
If 5 scores are not possible at the beginning of the season, preference will be given to last year's players until such time as 5 scores are available.
All rounds considered to be qualifying rounds will count.
Course availability, practice attendance, and previous scores carded will dictate amount rounds played in practice.
Rounds played outside of practice are very seldom used for qualifying scores.
A player not finishing a practice round will card a score of infinity. (That score will be the score dropped until the player has played 5 additional rounds.)
If there are ties in scoring average, there may be a playoff if time/course availability permits.
This is a sport and coaches are ultimately in charge of who participates in meets. Coaches decisions may override the qualifying procedures! This is not the norm, but may happen from time to time.
Will be updated.
