Tasks
The ROCC-SYS Project combines both theoretical research (analysis and control design methodologies for Cyber-Physical systems based on hybrid system theory) and applied research, with the final goal being the development of software packages for the analysis and design of Cyber-Physical Systems. Its organization is illustrated in the following diagram:
Task 1 is concerned with fundamental research on Hybrid Dynamical Systems. We intend to investigate fundamental stability and stabilization properties for switched and impuslive dynamical systems.
Task 2 deals with methodological research on Networked / Embedded Systems. We address in particular the analysis of aperiodic sampled-data controllers, the design of energy-aware samplers and the interaction between control algorithms and schedulling protocols.
Task 3 is concerned with the implementation of numerical tools for the analysis and design of CPS. More precisely, it is concerned with the production of LMI-based optimization programs in Matlab.
In Task 4 we intend to illustrate experimentally the proposed theoretical developments on the available experimental facilities at LAGIS, in order to tackle the practical implementation difficulties on real benchmarks.
