Robert M. Farley

Welcome! I am an associate professor of philosophy and Chair of Philosophy, Religion, & Humanities at Hillsborough College in Tampa, FL. I was previously a member of the philosophy department at Northern Illinois University, where I taught from 2011-2015. My PhD is from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I wrote a dissertation defending epistemological rationalism.

I am also past President (and continuing Officer-At-Large) of the Illinois Philosophical Association and current Vice-President of the Florida Philosophical Association.

In the recent past, I've received Fellowships from Yale's Life Worth Living program and from an NEH Summer Institute on Aristotle's Psychology & Contemporary Philosophy at Texas A & M.
