During 2007, the Robert Feigin Science Program "resident scientist" Martin Harris ran a series of Science activities for the senior students. These sessions gave rise to an informal meeting of minds ... the club became unofficially known as "The 1905 Club", and was a place of fun, friendship, and creative learning.
The 1905 Club began again in Term 2 of 2009, and took the following format:
Each science teacher was responsible for science club for a period of 3 – 4 weeks.
The teacher ran a series of activities that are related to their area of expertise.
The sessions being run by each teacher had a related theme: eg: Bianca Miranda, the Senior School Science Coordinator, ran a series of Consumer Science workshops allowing students to make products used in the beauty/make up industry (a different one each week). This enabled an understanding of what ingredients are used and why.
