Vex & Score

I am so excited to announce a new litter by Vex and Score! Vex is my smartest dog, and Score is my sweetest dog, so I am so excited to watch this litter grow! Vex had actually retired. I have tried over the years to breed her to many mini males but she declined every offer! 😆 I had tried AI but no litter ever took. So I gave up and retired her but she had not been spayed yet. She ended up choosing Score on her own, had natural ties and a healthy pregnancy. Due to her age I'm sure, she was tired half way through delivery and we finished with a c-section, but everyone was reunited and strong and healthy. I rarely left her side as I was ready to get her assistance ASAP if needed. I am SO blissful about this litter, hard to put into words how special it is to me. I was trying to breed Vex to a mini as there is some mini back in her line (great-grandmother Ryval), although she is mostly standard.. and Score is a standard... but I have decided to stick with my primary registry and register these pups with MASCA. Vex is around 40 lbs, 17.5", and Score is around 50 lbs, 20". This is nearly a full old timey working lined pedigree that should produce some amazing smart and eager to please puppies. Working lined Aussies are bred to be useful and trainable dogs... and therefore are not known to be hyper or over-energetic... that said, they will thrive with a human / dog connection and a training partner so I'm hoping to see these puppies get to do fun things with their families, even if it's hiking etc. The trainability, cool and collected loving combination of the parents, I would see these pups be amazing candidates for scent work, search and rescue, ratting, and other focus driven, thinking activities. That doesn't mean agility and flyball are out, nor herding, but there is so much more than that. They thrive on the connection with you, not the sport, and will be amazing life partners. They have inherited the old smokey blue heritage colours from Score's line and are unique beautiful babes!
