Welcome. My name is Mrs. Irish Dyer. The 2022- 2023 school year will mark my 16th year in the educational field. I am ending my teaching at Lowville Academy Central School in New York. I began my education at Richland Community College in Richardson, Texas. I continued in Microbiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, then earned my Bachelors Degree at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. I am a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta (Pre-Health Honors Society) and Phi Alpha Theta (National History and Government Honors Society).
We are a proud card-carrying nerdy geek family. I am happily married to a wonderful "computer ninja" and also a mother of 3 vibrant children; Johnny, who is the artistic oldest big brother to Inara… who is the fashionista decorative and spooky shows type and lastly River... who is the Pokémon Minecraft enthusiast of the group who is now aspiring to one day be a YouTube personality. Seriously. She practices.
We also have a spirited camp-thief Russian blue / Persian cat named Zero, and a pair of black cat sisters named Maggie and Kate (in honor of the famous Fox Sisters of New York). Sci-fi and fantasy shows take up any free time that we might sometimes have in the course of a day. Lastly, we just bought a house in Lowville. We are originally from Texas, so this was a huge move. However, after meeting a few people here and visiting the gorgeous Whetstone Gulf State Park, we are increasingly glad that we did. Please feel free to contact me and check my website for updates.
