About me

Hi! I am working as a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. under the supervision of Prof. Yujie Zheng.  

In my research, I use Satellite imagery and radar sensing to observe deformation processes on the Earth's surface. Then with mathematical modeling tools, I aim to explain the crustal deformation mechanisms causing the changes at the Earth's surface.

During my Ph.D., I investigated earthquake fault source and mechanical parameters using surface displacements obtained from GPS and InSAR. My primary research interest includes Earthquake source estimation, Bayesian modeling, numerical modeling, natural and anthropogenic crustal deformation processes, InSAR time series, etc. ​

• Postdoc in EES department, University of Iowa. PI- Prof. Bill Barnhart (April 2020- March 2021)

• Ph.D. in Earth Science and Engineering at KAUST, Saudi Arabia (2012 - 2019). Ph.D. supervisor - Prof. Sigurjón Jónsson

• MS. Tech. in Applied Geophysics at Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, India (2006 - 2011).
