The Alumni Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to build a strong alumni communication network, support and recognize the achievement of past graduates and to support the school and students through scholarships for graduating seniors.  The meeting is open to all graduates of RPHS.  Anyone interested in finding out what the Foundation is all about is invited to attend.  We need new your help and ideas!

RPHS Yearbook Inventory

Anyone searching for a lost yearbook or seeking to gift one can now purchase them. The high school's Media Specialist, Julie Greller, has inventory ranging from 1930 to 2014. Pricing ranges from $30 to $50. Some years are low on units, so be sure to purchase before they are gone.

Career Connections Breakfast

RPHS hosts Career Connections Breakfasts throughout the year. These take place at 7:15am and provide a small group of students with a look at educational and career paths they may experience in the future.

If you are able to speak with students, contact the Guidance Department at 201-807-2655. Career Connections does not have a deadline but we ask that you schedule participation as early as you can. It would greatly benefit students to be exposed to as many careers as possible.

Mission Statement

To create a global community of alumni to foster support and philanthropic commitment to Ridgefield Park High School, its educational mission and its students, while providing the framework for Alumni participation and networking.

Dear Alumni & Friends,

The Ridgefield Park Jr. - Sr. High School Alumni Foundation is looking for your continued support of our annual scholarship fund drive. Our name has changed because we are now a registered 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Organization. This means your scholarship donations are tax-deductible. It also means that if your company offers matching gifts, that you can designate our organization to receive a matching donation.

Our scholarship fund-raising goal for 2017 is targeted to be $15,000. We have also set a goal of 500 members for our membership drive. In these challenging economic times, the Alumni Foundation is thankful for the continued generosity of alumni and friends both near and far who continue to support this most worthy cause. Last spring, we were able to provide $6,500 in scholarships to multiple very worthy and deserving members of RPHS Class of 2016. We need your financial help to keep this tradition going for future graduates of RPHS. Any size donation is greatly appreciated. See our scholarship page for more information. A form to mail in is included at the bottom of both web pages.

The Alumni Foundation also works with the high school administration to conduct a career fair annually. This gives an opportunity for future graduates to have an understanding of the types of job opportunities that exist in the world today. We would like past Alumni to come back home and provide some insight into their careers for our high school students. This is a great opportunity for Alumni to come back home and give something back to their alma mater.

The Alumni Foundation asks that you mark your calendar for the upcoming Night at the Races event to be held on Kentucky Derby Eve-Friday May 5 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Ridgefield Park. This fun-filled evening for adults includes a buffet dinner and simulated horse races, raffle prizes, etc. Guests are invited to don their crazy hat creations for our HAT-itude contest, a nod to the Kentucky Derby. Contact Daina at 201-641-0010 for additional information. Our thanks goes out to Donna Rose McEntee, Daina Scheidler and Desirae Schipper for spearheading this event.

We continue to be in need of more volunteers to help in planning fund-raising events and Alumni activities. We also need one person from each class to serve as the contact person. This person would help us disseminate information on upcoming events through social media to their classmates. Send us an email at rphsalumni@aol.com with your class year and first, maiden and last name. See our class contact page to look up your class representative. The cost of mailings has become prohibitive due to the large number of alumni, so we rely on our website as the primary way to communicate and reach alumni around the U.S. and the globe.

Thank you for your continued support and we were glad to see many of you at Alumni Homecoming Weekend in 2012 and 2015.

Our calendar on this page will be updated with lists of any upcoming events. We hope to see you at one of our meetings. We need your help and fresh ideas!

Thank you for your continued support. Please come to a meeting and volunteer just a small amount of your time, it will be much appreciated!
