4th Annual 'Night At The Races' Fundraiser

Join us on Friday, May 5, for the RPHS Alumni Foundation's biggest event of the year. It's the 4th Annual 'Night At The Races' Fundraiser! Taking place the day before the Kentucky Derby, alumni and community members are getting together for a night of races, food, drinks, live music, and laughs.

Every attendee will receive funny money to start. The more races you win, the more funny money you get. Funny money is then exchanged for tickets to be put into giveaways for prizes of all types.

Tickets are $50 per person if you buy in advance, and it includes a buffet, drinks, and $100 funny money to use on the races.

The fundraiser aides students who've achieved academic excellence and are pursuing higher education. This June, the RPHS Alumni Foundation will provide multiple scholarships to eligible students as they become alumni themselves. It's our goal to ease the financial costs of higher education in 2017, and your support at the 4th Annual 'Night At The Races' Fundraiser is greatly appreciated.

Download the flyer, ticket form, and horse-naming form at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, get in touch with Donna at rphs76drm@gmail.com or 201-641-0010.

ALUMNI MEETING

Monday, May 15 - RPHS Teachers' Cafeteria

The Ridgefield Park High School Alumni Foundation will be conducting a general membership meeting on Monday, May 15, at 7:30PM ET. It will be held in the RPHS Teachers' Cafeteria.

The Alumni Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to build a strong alumni communication network, support and recognize the achievement of past graduates and to support the school and students through scholarships for graduating seniors.  The meeting is open to all graduates of RPHS.  Anyone interested in finding out what the Foundation is all about is invited to attend.  We need new your help and ideas!

Career Connections Breakfast

RPHS hosts Career Connections Breakfasts throughout the year. These take place at 7:15am and provide a small group of students with a look at educational and career paths they may experience in the future.

If you are able to speak with students, contact the Guidance Department at 201-807-2655. Career Connections does not have a deadline but we ask that you schedule participation as early as you can. It would greatly benefit students to be exposed to as many careers as possible.

LETTER FROM THE ALUMNI FOUNDATION - April 2017

Dear Alumni & Friends,

The Ridgefield Park Jr. - Sr. High School Alumni foundation is looking for your support of our annual membership/scholarship drive. This year, the Alumni Foundation will be distributing approximately $15,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. We need your support to sustain and increase this level of giving. We are also in need of more volunteers to help in planning fund-raising events and alumni activities. Please bring your ideas to any of our regular meetings -- the dates will be on the calendar of our website, so please join us.

We hope to see many of you at our annual Night At The Races fundraising event on May 5, 2017. See flyers at the bottom of this page. Registration forms and information about other events will be available on our website, so check back often. We would love to have even more alumni attend and speak at the high school's very successful Career Day, so please indicate on the form below if you would like to participate in Career Day activities. Please see the Class Contact page on our website, too. We are looking to find a volunteer from each class, so if you would like to volunteer as your class representative, send us your email and contact information. We ask that our Class Contacts forward information we send them along to their classmates. The cost of mailings are cost prohibitive with thousands of alumni so we hope to use social media effectively.

Please look for upcoming information about the 2018 Fall Homecoming Weekend on the website as well as information about other alumni activities. You can nominate someone for our prestigious RPHS Wall of Achivent using the application for on our website. As always, we would ink to thank those alumni and friends that continue to support this worthy cause.
