Antonio Rico-Sulayes got a PhD in Linguistics with a Concentration in Computational Linguistics from Georgetown University (2012), in Washington DC. He has an MS in Linguistics from the same institution (2010), an MA in Applied Linguistics from Universidad de las Américas Puebla (2004), and an MA in Hispanic Lexicography from the Escuela de Lexicografía Hispánica, at Real Academia Española (2003), in Madrid. He studied a BA in Linguistics and Hispanic Literature at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, in Mexico. Professor Rico has taught linguistics and computer science courses in various universities in Mexico, the US, and Colombia. He has worked as a lexicographer for English publishers, such as Macmillan and Pearson. He is the author of three research books and more than 40 research articles. Also, he has worked as a computational linguist in the US for institutions such as the World Health Organization and different Pentagon contractors. Currently, he is an associate professor at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, in Mexico. Among his interests are language technologies and lexical studies.
