Rambo Plus

I was a fan of Rambo as a kid, but I always disliked the opening screen of the game. It was monochrome and had terrible zoomed sprites. So I decided to modify the game and improve the opening screen.

I found the result to be quite good, and the patch was small enough to keep the size of the game unchanged, still 32kb. I had to use some pretty advanced compression to achieve this though.
