With 15-18 knot winds on Sunday, November 13th, it was the first chance a few of us had to use the C sail. The strong wind presented a challenge in tacking, so we refined our jibing skills temporarily, and later mastered tacking under full speed and on the crest of a wave! We had a few newcomers try out boats, but learned that conditions were not ideal for beginners, at one point Tom jumped in a kayak to rescue a wayward, uncontrollable RC Laser headed for Nichols Point.. Got in 9 races and had a wind-swept glow by about 12:30.
