I am an American Licensed (TN) Architect currently living in Krakow, Poland. Working for CH2M (Now Jacobs), I am a senior architect working on a variety of projects including: industrial projects and master planning on complex projects for regional and global key clients, water treatment plants, US Federal architecture, life sciences (production facilities and R&D lab/office spaces).
For seven years I worked at Hnedak Bobo Group www.hbginc.com which specializes in hospitality design. I have worked on numerous large resort projects and have learned some of the ins and outs of documenting the design of such large projects. While at HBG I also was a key person in the implementation of Revit. Since 2007 I have worked in Revit on projects large and small. I also assisted in the creation of firm standards for the use of the software; creating and implementing processes, standard content and families, and project templates.
I have also been very active in the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) since 1998. I joined as a first year architecture student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and quickly got involved as a student serving on both chapter and region committees. Three years after graduating from architecture school I was elected as President of the Memphis Chapter. My involvement in CSI has given me great leadership experience as well as very high technical abilities in my profession. My technical knowledge of construction documents, materials, and the building envelope have earned me the respect of many senior architects with whom I have worked.
