Graduation

Hey Seniors!!! 

    You've fought long and hard and have earned the right to GRADUATE!!!  An RHS Graduation is a very classy event that you will remember for the rest of your life.  There are lots of details that are posted here as attachments.  They include:

                1)  Dress Code for graduating seniors

• Be dressed according to the graduation attire guidelines set forth by the school.

- All that should show above the gown is a light-colored top/ dress shirt with a tie.  

-    Anything showing below the gown should be dark (Navy, black, dark brown).  

-     Dark dress shoes. Safety requirements on the track and turf this year require “flats” for all participants and attendees. 

                2)  Graduation Ceremony / Seating /  Tickets

Seats:  There are two types of seating for guests at graduation

• • VIP Seating:  Folding chairs on the field with the graduates

  • General Seating:  Seating in the home and away bleachers

• How Many:  Every graduating Senior will receive:

  • Two VIP tickets 

  • Four General tickets

• Cost / Additional Tickets:  

  • Tickets are FREE of charge

  • There are no additional tickets available

  • Some students choose to “trade” amongst themselves

    • “I’ll give you my two VIP tickets for your four general…” etc.

• Seating for ticketed guests:  

  • Gates open at 6:30 for all ticketed guests (this is a separate line from the non-ticketed line)

  • A ticket does NOT guarantee a seat.  Recommend arrival prior to 7:10(see below)

  • RHS does not regulate an official time for people to start lining up

• Seating for NON-ticketed guests:  

  • At 7:10 the line of non-ticketed guests will be allowed to enter the stadium

  • Seating of all guests will continue until stadium capacity is met

• Ceremony:  

  • The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.

  • The ceremony will last approximately 1 ½ hours ending at 9:00 p.m.
