This issue of RHP is the second guest-edited by Howie Good. Those of you who read RHP regularly, and you know who you are, are aware of Howie as a regular contributor. With F. John Sharp and me, he co-edits Left Hand Waving. He's a regular poetry-writing juggernaut, whose work is on the Internet as much as Anderson Cooper is on TV. Howie had an idea for a themed issue and this turned into the second half of this issue. (You'll read Howie's introduction to the special section as you go through the issue.) But, the whole issue features poems selected by Howie.

The poems in the special section are inspired by quotations. This might be a good time to mention my favorite quote. It's Woody Allen.
I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.

On another topic, since RHP is now recognized as the single most important publisher of fine literature in North America, we're getting a lot of work submitted. Because we're getting good stuff and we don't like turning down good work, we are going to be putting out issues more frequently. Sooner or later, the whole thing is going to collapse under its own weight, like Enron or Lehman Brothers but, for now, we're gonna party.
As always, thanks to all the fine artists--old friends and new--who have contributed to this issue. And thanks to you, our loyal reader.
Thanks,
Dale
