Brief Bio-data:

Dr. Rakesh K. Jha is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Central University of Jammu, with over 16 years of experience in academia, research, and industry. He has also served as an Associate Professor at IIITDM Jabalpur.

His research interests include wireless communication, power optimization, wireless security, and optical fiber communication, with a focus on next-generation communication systems. Dr. Jha has published 80+ SCI-indexed journal papers, including several in IEEE Transactions and leading international publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis.

He has been recognized among the Top 2% Global Researchers worldwide, reflecting the high impact and citation influence of his research contributions. His work has received 8500+ citations, particularly in wireless communication and networking domains.

Dr. Jha’s innovative research on wireless communication routing was acknowledged by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), earning him the Young Scientist Author Award in 2010. He has also received multiple APAN Fellowships across Asia-Pacific countries.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE and holds memberships in several international professional organizations. He has filed 15 patents (6 granted) and actively contributes to global research communities through conferences, workshops, and collaborative projects.

Dr. Jha has guided 12 Ph.D. scholars (with ongoing supervision), along with numerous postgraduate and undergraduate students, demonstrating strong academic mentorship and leadership.
