ABOUT THE CLUB
THE REPUBLICAN CLUB OF FREDERICK COUNTY
We are conservative-minded people interested in plans, programs and policies of county, state and federal levels of government. We are interested in the cost effectiveness or abuses of governmental endeavors! As an organization we foster fellowship with other Republicans by cultivating an open forum for discussion or debate.
During the year we secure topical speakers on germane civic issues for monthly meetings held on the 2nd Thursday. Additionally, the Club organizes events for pleasure, political purposes and fund-raising. Beyond this, we support candidates for various offices and similarly focus on developing party strength.
The Republican Club of Frederick County provides opportunities for Republican Voters of Frederick County to work for the betterment of the Republican Party in the County, in Maryland and in America.
The Club aims to develop intelligent and aggressive programs which:
Promote Political understanding and participation of its members;
Assist and cooperate with Local, State, and National Organizations;
Provide a regular forum for discussion.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Like those who crafted our Constitution and Bill of Rights, today’s Republicans believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual; that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability, and responsibility must be honored. Equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity must be available to everyone, regardless of race, creed, sex, age, or disability.
We believe free enterprise and individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity. Rather than create “class warfare” or undermine the achievement of individual wealth, Republicans believe individuals should keep more of the money they earn! We believe government entities at all levels have an obligation to be fiscally accountable.
In summary, the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government by us---we the people.
ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
Individuals registered as a Republican voter can join the Club for $25 per year, $35.00 family membership, and $10.00 student membership.
Membership dollars, and other money raised, enables us to carry out financial obligations, do community outreach and support individuals who campaign for elective office.
As our membership grows in size, we grow in strength and stature!
With each new member, there is one more person committed to limited government, reduced spending and lower taxes.
