We can't carry out all possible repairs to clothing and textiles, but things we can do include:
Repair torn seams or non inclusion
Turn up hems either by machine or by hand sewing
Sew on buttons - buttons to be provided.
Repair torn buttonholes
Patch a hole in fabric - fabric to patch with to be provided although this can sometimes be 'harvested' from elsewhere on the garment
Replace a drawstring - drawstring to be provided
Replace a trouser, skirt or cushion zip - zip to be provided
Replace elastic on fitted sheet corners - elastic to be provided
Repair small holes in knitwear
In addition, general advice can be given regarding any type of domestic sewing including clothes, curtains, cushions, soft furnishings and alterations.

Things that cannot be handled are any leather item or outside awning type item as specialised machinery is required, or something like replacing coat or jacket zips as there would not be enough time and should be done by a commercial repairers.
