Biomaterials and modified biomaterials have shown strong potential for the removal of dyes from wastewater in the textile and printing industries. Previous studies have demonstrated their high efficiency in treating contaminated wastewater. Building upon these findings, a practical wastewater treatment system has been successfully developed and commercialized.
The system is designed to allow the selective application of different biomaterials depending on the specific characteristics of the wastewater. Notably, these materials have already been implemented in real printing wastewater treatment processes, with adoption in more than 40 industrial facilities, demonstrating their reliability, scalability, and practical effectiveness in real-world applications.
