Data sets

In Kuijpers, Van der Ark, and Croon (2013; Sociological Methodology) we used two real-data examples to demonstrate that ignoring the standard errors of the estimated scalability coefficients may lead to incorrect inferences. The two data sets are available here (see bottom page for downloading files):

• The data set containing the scores on the 12 tolerance items pertaining to the largest Mokken scale for the Dutch sample: EVS08NL.txt
• The data set containing the scores on the 7 tolerance items pertaining to the largest Mokken scale for the Georgian sample: EVS08GE.txt
