Meet the executive

Kathy Park  is currently our Co-Chair. She graduated from the University of Regina with a degree in Adapted Physical Activity Studies. She has 20 plus years’ experience working as a Recreation Therapist in physical rehabilitation at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.  During her professional career she has had the privilege of supervising more students than her years of work. One of her greatest accomplishments professionally has been writing the National Certification exam in 2011. Kathy and her husband Rory enjoy spending time with their children – who love to play board games! Kathy herself enjoys curling in the winter, gardening in the summer and reading all year round.

 Alynn Skalicky  is currently Co-Chair alongside Kathy Park. 


Marisol Molina-Smith is serving in the education role. Marisol has been leading specialized older adult exercise classes for over ten years in Saskatchewan at her Sol’s Fitness studio. Her passion is to support and motivate aging adults to become more physically active to better their quality of life. Marisol has a degree in Recreation Studies and a B.A. from the University of Manitoba. She is also a certified SPRA fitness leader and course conductor for Exercise for Older Adults, Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher, Nordic Pole Walking, and LiveWell with Chronic Conditions program. Currently she works for the Saskatchewan Health Authority; Health Educator lead of Forever...in motion for Regina and area. Marisol enjoys dancing, walking, reading , and movies.

Shastidy Sterling

Alicia Andrusiak  is serving in the Treasurer role. Alicia graduated from the University of Regina in 2017 with a Bachelor in Sport and Recreation Studies with a Major in Therapeutic Recreation and a Minor in Psychology. That same year she received her certification from NCTRC and currently works as a Recreation Therapist in a long-term care home. She has a passion in leading person-centered care for seniors and has been providing TR students an opportunity for practicum placements with a focus on recreation pursuits in geriatric care. She enjoys being in the company of her family and friends and participates in competitive & recreation sports such as ringette, slow-pitch, cross country skiing and tennis in her leisure time.
