It brought back some nostalgic memories, as I was born , and brought up in the town, having lived in Millsbro Road up until the age of 21.

I can remember the Alcester Street garage very well, and can recall seeing coaches with the roof faring on them.

 Hello, found the site by accident, today, the pictures/history is super, I have many memories of Regent coaches parked outside my old school, to pick up children for the outlying areas of Alvechurch, Hopwood and Studley, the half cabs with fabulous fins really were fascinating, sadly (I now wish I had) I never thought to take my camera, seeing them everyday, twice per day too, during the school terms, they were as common to me as my uniform.

This was outside Woodrush School in shawhurst lane Wythall, a treasured memory.
