Editorial Activity.  I also periodically serve as a referee for academic journals, including Economic Record, Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics, Australian Economic Review, Journal of Comparative Economics, Economic Analysis and Policy.

Consultancy -  Cost of Raising Children for Family Court Cases.  Since 2000, I have been engaged as a consultant  by various Legal Houses, Private Insurers,  the Australian Family Court and other government agencies who seek independent reports on the cost of raising children in Australian households. My research findings for the particular cases are used as a guide by the Courts to work out compensation payments for disadvantaged families or groups of families.  In addition, I have also been engaged as a consultant by the Department of Human Services to help them work out a budget for the cost of raising children in Foster/Residential Care situations.
