I am an applied microeconomist, with primary research interest in the field of health economics, specifically economics of risky health behaviors
My current research mainly focuses on the impact of public policy, particularly substance use policies on health behaviors such as tobacco use, physical inactivity, intimate partner violence, perinatal and mental health.
Alongside research, I have more than 5 years of experience teaching undergraduate level courses in economics.
At leisure, I am either taking a few hours of reading, listening to my favorite tunes, or just an amateur photographer on a long walk appreciating nature. Traveling around and exploring new places is also something I love to do for myself.
