A word from the Broker
I grew up in Poland (Europe), where we never knew what it meant to move. People were born and lived their entire lives within a few mile radius. Families were raised in three generation households where grandmothers and grandfathers were always in the kitchen waiting for you to come home. Where home smelled with freshly baked babkas and cheese stuffed pierogi. Where people stopped in without big announcements and there was always something interesting to talk about. Most people had no phone, no car, and were not in a hurry.
I moved to America and learned how to celebrate Thanksgiving, eat popcorn and pumpkin pie, learn all about Tupperware parties, and who the Bulls and Notre Dame fans are. I learned to speak the new language ( I spoke German, French, Russian and Polish, but not English!). I also had to learn the concept how people in America can move so often, so easily and in such an organized way. It took me a while to understand the process of being born in California, accepting a job opportunity in Florida, and moving on average every 7 years. It did not take me a long time to get attracted to this “American life style.”
I remember so well the agony of making my first important decision 35 years ago when signing papers to purchase our first dream home... I remember how emotionally difficult it was to sell it 3 years later when we outgrew it... But despite our mixed emotions we have found a bigger and better home where Katie and David, our 2 children, were delighted to make new friends and ride their bicycles in a much bigger subdivision with sidewalks.
Again, we heard the voice of opportunity - another home on the horizon - closer to my husband's work, with more storage area, and a much bigger backyard. Yes, we followed the voice of moving and placed our second house on the market. In “house number 3" we discovered a large circle of new friends, great flower garden. It had an extra room for my husbands computers, a circular driveway with a perfect place to put a fountain in the middle and a half an acre of the woods in the back.
I can identify with any of you that may be debating about moving. I can feel your struggle and questions and emotions - Who to hire to be your mentor, your leader, someone you can trust? Who has an experience?
I would love to have an opportunity to meet with You, to sit down and to listen to your needs. Whether you are the Buyer or the Seller - I’ve been there. I will take you step by step through the process. I will do it with compassion and my full attention. You deserve it!
I graduated in 1983 with a degree in teaching. In my early years in USA I had the opportunity to teach Russian at Lake Michigan College, write articles as a free lance journalist for Chicago's polish magazine PANORAMA, and study Real Estate business at the Halloway Institute. I became a full time Realtor and a Million Dollar Producer the very first year I started. I sincerely enjoy every day of my work and I am looking forward to help everyone with their Real Estate needs. I do not use high pressure sales techniques, I simply offer honest, friendly and professional service. Whether you are looking to buy or sell a home I would consider it a privilege to assist you while you are making one of the most important decisions in your life. Let me put my many years of experience to work for you!
