● Speak aloud the copy & paste or key in text

Key in text from keyboard, or copy words, phrases, and sentences from other app (such as Mail, Pages, Safari…), the text will be pasted automatically, and then it will speak sentence by sentence.

If you key in or copy url (http://...) from other app, and run the app, it will speak the pasted url web site automatically.

You can swipe to mark a starred item as read or unread, flag or unflag, and copy a starred text to input box.

Swipe a starred text right and tap the [Mark as Read] or [Mark as Unread] button to mark as read or unread, tap the [Flag] or [Unflag] button to flag or unflag, and tap the [Copy] button to copy the starred text to input box.

Swipe a starred text left to remove the starred item.

You can copy or add touched selected words with “Starred” in Speak mode.

● Speak aloud web pages

The app provides a Safari extension that speaks aloud the entire web page of Safari app directly sentence by sentence.

You can copy or add touched selected words with “Starred” in Speak mode.

● Speak aloud the clicked web page

If you click the link on web page while in Speak mode, the app will read the clicked web page automatically.

● Speak aloud documents

Speak aloud the whole document page sentence by sentence.

The app will turn eBook page automatically to ensure continuous reading.

You can copy or add touched selected words with “Starred” in Speak mode.

Formats supported:

- Text (text, txt), RTF document (rtf)

- Microsoft Office: Word (doc, docx), Excel (xls, xlsx), PowerPoint (ppt, pptx, pps)

- Apple iWork: Pages (pages), Numbers (numbers), Keynote (key)

- eBook (unencrypted epub)

Please note that iBook eBooks are limited to use inside Apple iBook app only.

PDF file format is not supported.

Expanding and showing sub folders and document files in the same view.

Search for files and folders.

Add, Delete, and Rename files and folders.

Drag & Drop to move files and folders.

Select multiple files and folders to Zip, Zip & Email, Email or Delete.

Scrollable menu.

Pull down to refresh the tree list.

Zip, Zip & Email multiple files and folders with a password.

Unzip a password-protected zip file.

● Cloud files import & export support

You can import and export Apple iCloud Drive, Box, Dropbox and Google Drive cloud files directly.

The feature requires iOS 8 (or later) and Box, Dropbox and Google Drive apps installed.

● Support three ways to open documents

There are three ways to add documents to the app’s “Documents”:

1. Open In...

Open documents from Apple's Mail app attachments (or any App that supports "Open In..." feature), and select "ReadToMe 2" in the "Open In..." menu of the Mail app, then they will be opened and copied to the app's “Documents”.

The app can keep speaking text, documents and web pages in the background while using another app.

But you need to quick the speaking function and back to the main screen to use the "Open In..." feature.

2. Apple iTunes

Connect Apple iPad or Apple iPhone to your computer via USB cable, and then drop your files to the app File Sharing window of Apple iTunes to copy to the app's "Documents".

3. Cloud services

Import documents from the Apple iCloud Drive, Box, Dropbox and Google Drive cloud services.

● Add favorite articles with "Starred"

Add favorite key in text, documents and web pages with "Starred" to speak aloud later.

You can swipe to mark a starred item as read or unread, and flag or unflag a starred item.

Swipe a starred item right and tap the [Mark as Read] or [Mark as Unread] button to mark as read or unread, and tap the [Flag] or [Unflag] button to flag or unflag.

Swipe a starred item left to remove the starred item.

You can copy or add touched selected words with "Starred" in Speak mode.

● Read all unread articles automatically

The app can read all unread starred key in text, documents and web pages automatically.

● Swipe to control skipping sentences

You can skip a sentence or all below sentences while in Speak mode.

Swipe a sentence right and tap the [Skip Below] or [Unskip Below] button to skip or unskip all below sentences.

Swipe a sentence left and tap the [Skip] or [Unskip] button to skip or unskip the sentence.

● Support useful speaking options

The app provides some useful speaking options, such as repeat times of the whole article, repeat times of each sentence, speaking pause seconds between sentences, speaking speed, speaking pitch and font size options.

The repeat times could be 0~60 and infinity (∞).

● Speaking face animation

The app provides funny face animations while speaking.

You can choose bears and humans face animation with two types of mouth each.

You could use the pinch to zoom gesture to change the face size, drag and drop to move to other position features.

● Highlight words while speaking

The app will highlight word by word for each speaking sentence.

The sentence will also be highlighted on many web pages while speaking. Please note that words with special format may not be highlighted properly.

● Background operation support (Pro)

The app can keep reading web pages in the background while using another app.

● Lock screen support (Pro)

The app provides the lock screen support that you can play, pause, skip a sentence, adjust playback volume and see the sentences list on the lock screen.

● Headphone support (Pro)

The app provides the headphone support that you can play, pause and adjust playback volume. It also detects headphone plugged and unplugged.

● Speak aloud Chinese text with pinyin (Pro)

The app can speak aloud Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) text with pinyin.

You can turn off the pinyin feature.

You can mail the pinyin.

● This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad
