Several RAO students attended a preview performance of the new play Invisible Man based on Ralph Ellison's novel at the Court Theatre. The ambitious play, which has received positive reviews, not only deftly incorporated key themes from the novel, but the strong performances by an ensemble of actors strikingly brought the book to life. In many ways, seeing the play helped students better understand the struggles of the unnamed narrator of the tale and inspired them to continue reading and exploring the novel.
