Presentation of Awards:
During the presentation of awards, you are welcome to come forward and take pictures of your family member receiving the award.
Lord Strathcona Trust Fund Medal – The Lord Strathcona Trust Fund Medal, most commonly referred to as the Lord Strathcona Medal (LSM), is the highest award which can be bestowed on a Royal Canadian Army Cadet in recognition of exemplary performance in physical and military training. The medal and accompanying Certificate of Merit are awarded by the Lord Strathcona Trust.
The Legion Medal of Excellence - The Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence, more commonly known as the RCLME, recognizes individual endeavours of a citizenship nature which meet or enhance the aims and objectives of the cadet organizations. The Legion Medal is also regarded as one of the highest awards to be bestowed on a Cadet.

We are very grateful to Branch# 34 Royal Canadian Legion for their continued support and sponsorship of 219 RCACC along with the work of our Parents Support Committee for their support and fundraising activities. Any member of our community can join the support committee. Don't forget that our support committee is looking for volunteers to help with the fundraising activity at the Pictou County Rib Fest again this year!
