RAZAK INSTITUTION OF SKILLS, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
[ Marathi translation: रझाक कौशल्य, शिक्षण व संशोधन संस्थान ] - fondly abbreviated as RISER - is a charity registered
under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.
Skill is the ability to do something well and arises from talent, training, or practice.
Whatever you want to do, do it well and do it for the good. Development of your skill(s) is a continuous process, actually a practice, and can get better with the fullest use of your talent, experience and training in allied disciplines.
The key resource of any nation is its people and their intellect. It helps if people get the chance to do what they want to do and so we should focus on developing skills they need for a lucrative career. This is necessary for them to contribute to any business, economy and society. The underlying goal is to support people of all sectors to get the best from the human resource.
Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction.
The Education, in its broad sense, involves the facilitation of another's learning and thus is the means through which the aims and habits of a group of people lives on from one generation to another. In its narrow rather technical sense, education is the formal process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills, customs and values from one generation to another.
Research is the systematic process of knowledge generation.
Research [derived from the French word "recherche" or Old French "recerchier" - a compound word from "re-" + "cerchier", or "sercher", meaning 'search'] is a multi-step process used to collect and analyze information to increase our understanding of a topic or issue.
According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, research is "a studious inquiry or examination; especially : investigation or experimentation aimed at the discovery and interpretation of facts, revision of accepted theories or laws in the light of new facts, or practical application of such new or revised theories or laws."

["Razak"/"रज्जाक / रझाक", usually a given-name to man, originates from an Arabic word (الرزاقAr-Razzāq) and is one of the names of God in Islam. "Razak/Rajjak" means the Sustainer, the Provider, the Bestower of all, He who gives sustenance, He who gives the livelihood, He who provides all things beneficial to His creatures.
The name "RAZAK" given to the Institution of Skills, Education and Research is in the honour of Mr. Razak Shaikh, the Father of the founder and the president of this charity].
