Razvan (Banzan) Beuran was born in Bucharest, Romania. In 2006, after arriving to Japan, he started studying Tozan School shakuhachi with Rozan Sakakura.

In 2011 he obtained the Assistant-instructor license (准師範), and in 2017 the Master license (師範) of the Tozan School, receiving the honorary name Banzan (蕃山). Razvan is actively teaching shakuhachi in Ishikawa Prefecture, and also composes occasionally.

Since 2014, Razvan began giving hands-on introduction to shakuhachi lessons to foreigners at the Ishikawa International Exchange Lounge in Kanazawa.

ラズバン・ベウラン（蕃山）

ルーマニア出身。2006年、都山流尺八を坂倉盧山（さかくら・ろざん）に習い始める。

2011年、准師範試験に合格。2017年、師範試験に合格し、蕃山（ばんざん）の山号をいただく。伝統文化の継承の為、後進の育成に努め、尺八の作曲活動も行っている。

2014年から石川国際交流ラウンジで講師を務めている。
