Dr. Raveendra Babu is presently working as Assistant Professor in Mathematics in Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior. Dr.Babu joined the Institute on 01st December, 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics on the topic, “Mathematical study of the effects of toxicant on the stability of three-species food chain systems” in 2016 under the supervision of Dr.O.P.Misra, Professor and Head (Rtd.), School of Mathematics and Allied Sciences, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. Dr. Babu obtained his Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India.
He has been attending various Workshops, Seminars and Conferences and has presented papers in many national and international conferences. He has three National and seven International publications to his credit. Dr. Babu attended two national long term research trainings/programs. In addition to this, Dr.Babu has guided six M.Phil. students under his guidance and currently guiding three Ph.D. students. His research interests are Mathematical Modeling of Ecology and Population dynamics.
Dr. Babu is an ex-member of Board of Studies, Mathematics, Jiwaji University, Gwalior and ex-member of Board of Studies, Commerce, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior. He is also a life member of the academic bodies, Mathematical Society, BHU, Varanasi, and The Indian Mathematical Society, New Delhi. He has delivered 20 invited lectures in Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He has more than sixteen years teaching experience.
