Research interests
My research areas of interest revolve around some core ideas, always with a strong mathematical/computational approach:
Economic behaviour of individuals when they must decide on their main resources and its uses and consequences.
Time use: time is regarded as a major economic resource at our disposal, not sufficiently highlighted in economics.
Wellbeing.
Consumer behaviour.
Other puzzling behavioral economic issues which challenge economic theory are always of my interest.
Economic Analysis using Artificial Intelligence.
New thinking in economics at a macro level.
Current facts at a macro level clearly suggest something is not good enough at the macroeconomic level of thought. Any new idea with new approaches is a welcome challenge.
Wellbeing: WELLBY
Environmental, Development and Resource Economics for the sake of sutainability.
Valuation of Externalities to foster more accurate economic analysis and decisions concerning the Environment and our Sustainability.
Thus, I can define my research topics / fields of interest, ranked in order of importance in my current research:
Allocation of Time.
Theoretical models
Lifestyle Dynamics.
Its relation to Wellbeing.
Consumer Behaviour and Behavioral Economics (particularly choice overload).
Economic Analysis and Artificial Intelligence.
Both:
Economic Theory (both at a micro and macro level).
Sustainable management of natural resources (particularly valuation of externalities, but also climate change adaptation, development economics).
