About Us

Ramsaday College Library was started in 1946 with the establishment of our college. Our college library is one among the leading libraries of West Bengal. Presently it contains a rich collection of 27000 books. (Text Books & Reference, 07 Peer reviewed Journals, 2 Daily News papers, 3 Employment oriented Newspapers, more than 1 Lakh e-books, and approximately 4500 peer-reviewed journals).  It is technologically equipped with 8 internet connected PC's, among them 2 are dedicated for OPAC search; 1 Scanner; 1 Laserjet Printer; 1 Dot-Matrix Printer; 1 Xerox Machine to offer students the scope to update themselves. It has 2 large Reading Room for students (1 air-conditioned) and 1 large stack room to house this collection, both under CCTV Surveillance, and a Research block for faculty members.  Library provides reference services, CAS & SDI services for its users.

Monday to Friday (Except Holiday): 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Saturday: 10:30 AM - 2 PM
