Short Bio: received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 2013 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. In June 2013, he joined the school of electrical and information technology at the German Jordanian University (GJU) as a faculty member, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include semantic video analysis: human activity and emotion analysis, Human-Human Interaction representation and analysis, elderly fall detection, Human-Robot Interaction: Collaborative human/robot tasks, smart environments, Biomedical Signal processing, Brain-Computer Interfaces, EEG-based emotion identification, EEG-based pain analysis.
