Our Research
Our research projects focus on inorganic materials for energy applications. We study complex oxide materials due to their applications in fuel cells, batteries, electrocatalysis and magnetism.
Charge transport for fuel cell applications
We synthesize and study materials that contain multiple types of metal ions in the same system. These ionic compounds consist of infinite networks of metal cations and oxide anions. Energy devices such as some fuel cells rely on these networks. We synthesize a wide range of mutli-metal oxide materials and modify their crystal structure to study the relationship between charge transport and structural properties.
