Word Game Players Organization SCRABBLE© Tournament – April 26-27

Directed by Kirk Troutman

Schedule: Saturday, April 26: Registration 8:15-8:45 a.m. Games begin at 9:00 a.m.

Eight rounds with lunch break after game 4.

Sunday, April 27: Five games beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Pairings: Round robin pairings followed King of the Hill round(s).

Gibsonizing will be used if warranted.

Divisions: Divisions and pairings based on ratings at the discretion of the director.

Entry Fee: $70. Maximum of 48 players. Please register early.

Food: Snacks and water will be provided on both days.

Light lunch will be provided on Sunday only.

Membership in WGPO is required to participate. Join at https://wordgameplayers.org

All division will be using WOW24 lexicon. Please bring your board, clock and tiles.

Tournament Venue Location:

Hampton Inn Omaha-Aksarben Area, 1401 South 72nd Street, Omaha, Nebraska.

Reserve rooms by calling 402-933-5510 and request the Scrabble Tournament rate. Tournament rate is $129 and available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This discounted rate is available through February 26, 2025.

Breakfast at the hotel is being made available to all tournament participants.
