Sky Mound
The home of the Sky Riders; not known to the general populace. To the untrained eye Sky Mound looks to be a large hill surrounded by smaller hills, and that is by design. Tactical placement of earthworks, underground quarters and facilities, along with a web of connecting tunnels make this location highly defensible against invasion.

Is a massive archeology site from the first elven kingdom. There is construction underway to rebuild on the foundations, what cannot be restored is being repurposed. Much to the dwarves' surprise Shalana decided that the central building and the first true construction site would be a library. The lands on Cloudshire were purchased by the dragons from Arressia and then gifted to Shalana for her role in rescuing a large clutch of dragon eggs before the hatchlings inside perished.
General geography
Aressia is largely open plains with hills to the west where the Sky Mound is located. The Y’Sanni guard their horses fiercely and so predator populations are well managed. The grasses of the plains are drought and fire resistant and the slow here is very fertile.
Weather
Weather is semiarid along the coast thanks to the coastal breezes giving way to a more temperate climate, most soil moisture comes from the winter snows and spring rains. Summers are hot and breezy.
General food
The Aressians herd cattle and produce wheat, hence historical references to the Grass Seas. Their foods feature beef, goat, game birds, hearty breads, a variety of cheeses and dairy products.

Drakhelm features hilly woodlands with grassy rolling hills in the southwest. The forests are largely coniferous which is in demand for construction lumber though there are plenty of deciduous forests that allow them to keep up with the demand for hardwoods as well. The rolling grasslands to the southwest make for fertile farming.
Weather
Warm summers that can grow humid with thunderstorms. Winters are mild with consistent snowfall, however the cold air from the Iron Mountains can bring on heavy snow storms and harsh winds.
General food
Food in Drakhelm features earthy herb smothered meats such as boar, venison, and game birds like pheasant and quail. Fruit trees such as apples, cherries, blueberries, plums, and pears are quite popular in Drakhelm.

Deephome is located underground as are most of the dwarven cities and mines. Their cities are large and in even though underground for the most part you can’t see the stone above you in these cities.
Quick carts allow them to move faster between holds and cities.
Harren Hall and Honeymeade are Dwarven settlements located above ground.

Dwarven food favors fungi, lichens, with a healthy mix of fish, mutton, and chicken. They also eat cave spiders when they have to deal with spider problems.

Highland is dominated by large snow capped mountains and deep valleys.

Highland has harsh weather. Their winters are long and the other seasons shorter and cooler. The mountains intensify all storms and make them more unpredictable. This makes them hardy, and the beasts in the mountains meaner. It is because of their weather that Highlanders are the only ones who fight in the snow.
General food
They hunt their meat which means elk, and a variety of mountain sheep. They import a lot of produce so they favor hearty root vegetables like carrots, potatoes, parsnips, beets, turnips, onions, radishes, and sweet potatoes in their foods. They season with local herbs but tend to let the natural flavors talk for themselves.

Their dishes featured roasted mutton, pronghorn, beef, and wild game birds with a nice array of earthy herbs. The Dino Grounds are pretty awesome but not for the faint of heart. Also there was a lake that was formed when the Betrayer was killed. It's really big and has great fishing, there’s a statue on the island in the center.

Kogad-zor is highly defensible given that it is walled by mountains and backed by the sea.
Weather
Temperatures are on the milder side, but winds coming from the sea generate a lot of storms as those wounds hit the mountains. This makes the area lush and fertile allowing large beasts like dinosaurs to thrive on the fauna these conditions produce. Winters bring heavy snow falls, but the temperatures don’t have the same bite as Highland or the Iron Mountains.

The cuisine in Kogad-zor like all orcish cuisine tends to be heavy in meat and it is spicy with a lot of kick. Kogad-zor is where you can get a dino steak.

The land is hilly with areas of large forest. The coast is home to low growing shrubs and grasslands. There are bogs in the low lying areas near the coast. The wooded areas include birch, rowan, and willow trees. Fishing is excellent along the coast, though there are regions of the coast that are residence to massive cliffs.

Paladara has a temperate climate with typically warm rather than hot summers and cool to cold winters and rarely experiences very extreme weather. On average the hottest month is in the middle of the summer and the coldest month is in the first month of the year. Rainfall on average falls fairly evenly throughout the year, the wettest month is October and the driest is April.
General food
Paladara is a kingdom known for their chowders, which are generally seafood based. They feature seasonal produce such as tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, corn, potatoes, celery, carrots, pumpkin, and different squashes. If it grows, these people have figured out how to incorporate into a chowder.

Otharia’s hills provide the shade that their coffee trees need to grow. There are bogs south of the mountains that are home to Red Port and Dark Haven. There are stretches of forest in Otharia that also help provide shade for coffee tree growth. The soil is fertile and well draining which means many crops do well there, but the presence of volcanic rock and soil mold are what truly make conditons peak coffee tree conditions.

Otharia has a mild climate that is free of frost allowing the coffee trees to thrive. The country weather is balanced with ample sunshine and rain for coffee growth.
