When the young orc who would soon become known as Garn the Conqueror first began to build his tribe, he sought out other orc tribes for one specific purpose. Garn was looking only for those orcs who were not only strong in body, but strong in mind as well with the capability to learn. Often he would wipe out entire tribes, keeping only a few of those showing promise.
Among those first recruited were Rekka of the Eye Gouger tribe, and Thrash of the Bloody Tusk tribe. Thrash had already taken Rekka as mate when Garn conquered the Bloody Tusk tribe, and they'd already had a son together born in the year 8 AoM. Their son Angvir was five years old, and already showed great promise, as his cunning parents had already seen the benefits of mating for strength of mind and body.
These two quickly rose through the ranks of the tribe, and through battle prowess and promising intellect, they were given mating rights by Chief Garn, and had two more children after Angvir. The two of them died in combat together in the year 24 AoM when Garn the Conqueror defied Gruumsh and led his tribe to the aid of Drakhaelm, assisting them in battle defending Stronghold against an army of Vallus' Black Knights.
It was their son Angvir who became the father of Ylva and Tevega; companions of the Sleeping Gods Campaign.
