My heart is a drum

And together with my Tribe

Ground shakes in our wake.

One with my weapon

An extension of myself

Harmony unmatched.

With will of iron

She descends from mountains cold

'Ware the Shieldmaiden.

The clashing of steel

Rings in my ears long after

The battle is done.

The heat of battle

Burns more fiercely through my veins

Than fear of my foe.

Life without honor

Is like a night without stars;

A dark, empty, void.
