Our FM Signal is Vertically Polarized. For best reception, your antenna should be vertical, like a car antenna or the extended "whip" on a home or portable radio. This is one reason that your reception may be better in your car than in your home. Car radios are generally "better" than most table and portable radios in that they are more sensitive (can receive weaker signals) and more selective (can better reject adjacent signals). If you can receive our station in your car when it is in your driveway but cannot receive us well in your home you need to have a better antenna or a better radio (or both). The Crane Radio Company - http://www.ccrane.com/radios/ - is a good source of radio information. Their CCRadio-EP is as good as the old GE Super Radio and goes for about $80. The CCRadio-2 is much pricier but has digital tuning and other features. Its FM performance matches the EP model. You should know that the higher a radio's antenna, the better will be the reception. Send us any technical questions you may have about FM reception.
