Parking

There is a bike rack behind our shed with room for 2-3 bikes in addition to our own. If that is full, the next recommended location is along the fence inside our back yard.

Information on car parking is subject to change as we get more details on Medford parking ordinances. This page is not authoritative, but we've done our best to provide the relevant information. We have two driveway parking spaces and there is street parking available nearby.

Parking on the streets nearest the Sanctuary requires a Medford residential parking permit.

Non-permit parking is available as follows and as illustrated on our Map (obey all relevant signs!):

• (500ft) Wellesley St
• (600ft) Harvard St
• (1000ft) Main St
• (1200ft) Winchester St

Winter Parking / Snow Emergency:

• December 1, 2013 to April 1, 2014, from midnight to 7AM or 24/7 during a declared snow emergency, parking is only allowed on the ODD side of the street. That is the side NOT adjacent to the Sanctuary on both Princeton and Radcliffe.
• No parking is allowed on either side of Harvard Street during a declared snow emergency.

Spring/Fall Street Sweeping:

• One day each fall, during November, and spring, during April/May, published on http://medford.org/ shortly beforehand, is street sweeping day. No parking is allowed within about a mile of the Sanctuary. This is subject to change year to year. We will try to update this space with upcoming dates.

Commercially registered motor vehicles (any vehicle w/o passenger plate registrations), Commercially lettered motor vehicles, trucks over one ton capacity, vehicles with trailers, and/or oversize vehicles may NOT park overnight from 12 - 7 am on Medford city streets, or for more than 1 hour otherwise.
