The Speleology Club „Emil Racoviță” Bucharest (established on November 5, 1969), is a non-governmental organization, with legal personality (civil sentence 138 / 20.06.1995), fiscal code 7965734. Our mission is to discover, explore and publish (with free access for everyone) the research results. We promote our achievements and the achievements of other NGOs (free of charge). We offer the Top of the caves in Romania (free) and the Catalog of the Caves in Romania (free).

We have two world records, dozens of national records, many performances of European and world interest. We have contributed to the realization of specialized syntheses worldwide. We have published tens of books and thousands of articles.

Our main project in the last years is Romania nature, meant to show our discoveries as well as those of other NGOs or individuals. No one gives as much information as we do (news, articles, guides, maps, images): 24,000 A4 pages for free!

We always mention, by first and last name, all those who contribute to discoveries and projects.

Among others, the Faculty of Geography in Bucharest, the Institute of Speleology, the Faculty of Biology and Geology in Cluj-Napoca are stealing massively. Many projects made with European funds have copied the information from us.
