For sixteen years, I have been teaching a wide variety of business classes in Philadelphia, and now I wish to continue in the education or the accounting field in New Jersey utilizing my accounting, education, and technology skills.
Business Instructor
Prepared and coordinated training seminars with various faculty and staff and presented training seminars for student presentations and in-service staff training programs and coordinated student graduation logistics including announcements and correspondence, database of attendees, seating organization, guest speaker information, and graduation rehearsal.
Communicated with students to provide performance evaluations and tutoring opportunities and prepared student early warning reports, student progress reports, and student final grades while maintaining a database of all students and final grades.
Managed department lesson plans, prepared attendance books for each business class, and coordinated with other instructors to arrange coverage of business classes.
Coordinated classroom activities and career service presentations, developed and utilized a step-by-step approach for effective business and job-search correspondence, and maintained a database of over 500 business and ESL student résumés.
Created projects and handouts for journalizing and posting entries, preparing a worksheet and adjustments, preparing financial statements, calculating employee earnings and deductions, calculating employer taxes, accounting for sales and purchases, managing checking accounts, reconciling bank statements, valuing inventory, computing depreciation, and utilizing QuickBooks Pro.
Researched and adopted new projects for the Internet class, which included researching companies, locating financial information, and locating tax rates and amounts.
Assembled projects and handouts for Microsoft Word to create, edit, and format business documents, such as letters, memorandums, and reports while utilizing mail merge, graphics, and tables.
Developed projects for creating and editing a Microsoft Excel worksheet while working with formulas and functions, formatting worksheets, working with charts, analyzing data, and using tables.
Audio Visual Technician
Assist students and staff with the circulation and retrieval of media and accompanying hardware and reserves; answer inquires for information in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures, and supervise student assistants as needed.
Troubleshoot audio, video, and computer issues and assist faculty members with classroom technology and perform audiovisual distribution services in various classroom buildings on campus.
Operate and care for audio-visual hardware, computers, media, and software and assist in their maintenance and repair.
Review, check, and certify inventories and other documents for correctness.
Attend training sessions and study schematics and manuals for the operation and troubleshooting of equipment.
Student Ambassador
Assisted students with event check in and directed students to designated rooms to meet with company representatives during the Sales Career Fair.

Pool Manager
Scheduled lifeguards, managed inventory and ordered pool supplies, tested pool water and maintained log book of water quality, checked identification and maintained log book of pool area quests, and kept swim area safe and clean.
