The Larmor QuILT (Quantum Interactive Learning Tutorial) includes the following components:
l Test A and Test B for Larmor Precession. These two tests are equivalent in content and difficulty level. Instructors can use one as a pretest and the other as a post-test.
l An Electron in a Uniform Magnetic Field: Larmor Precession of Spin. This section serves as a warm-up tutorial (without simulation) for students to review the concepts related to Larmor precession.
l Larmor Precession Tutorial with Simulations. This comprehensive tutorial package includes a JAR file (simulation) and a PDF file (instructional material). Prior to use, the package must be unzipped. To run the JAR file, you may need to install the Java Runtime Environment (available at java.com).
Note: After extracting the contents of the ZIP package, please do not rename the JAR file or the PDF file. To ensure functionality, keep both files in the same folder, allowing the PDF to be accessed directly via a link in the JAR file.
