QuickBooks inventory adjustments using plus icons in the Online version
Open browser and log in to QuickBooks Online.
Click on Plus (+) icon located in the Toolbar.
Choose Inventory Qty Adjustment from Others section.
Enter the Adjustment Date and choose the QuickBooks inventory adjustment account from the Inventory Adjustment Account drop-down list.
In the Product drop-down select the Product in which you want to make changes.
Now, enter the required changes for the quantity of the item.
Make sure to enter the information related to the changes in the Memo field.
Finally, click on Save.
Note: Do not use the Inventory Asset account to track inventory on the QuickBooks Inventory Adjustment screen.

Use the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online make adjustments in Inventory
In the Toolbar section, click on Gear icon.
Choose Product and Services.
Select the inventory item to be adjusted.
Click on Batch Actions from Action Column and choose Adjust Quantity.
Change the date on the Inventory Quantity Adjustment window.
Click on the QuickBooks inventory adjustment account from the drop-down list next to Inventory Adjustment Account.
From the Item list, change the quantity of the item.
After saving the notes in the memo field, hit on Save & Close.
Method to Delete QuickBooks inventory adjustments in QBO
Open QuickBooks Online and sign into it.
Click on Advanced Search and choose the Inventory Quantity Adjustment from the drop-down of All Transactions.
Look where you need to apply adjustment.
Once the Adjustment Entry appears on the screen choose Edit to make changes to the Adjustment.
Click Delete if you want to remove the Adjustment.
