This is the webpage of Justin Wells.

I am a professor in physics, employed at UiO.  I work at both the Department of Physics and the Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology.

I am currently (2025 onwards) Head of the section: "Solid State Physics and Quantum Technology" which includes the former Semiconductor Physics and Structure Physics sections.

My group build, run and use advanced instrumentation for photoelectron spectroscopy; including ARPES, spin-ARPES, PEEM, spin-PEEM, XPS, UPS and IPES.

Much of my research is synchrotron based, so I have strong connections to the Danish and Swedish synchrotron facilities ASTRID and MAX, as well as a number of other synchrotron facilities worldwide.
