First attempt to study the nervous system was based on models from quantum field theory and the theory of Fermi and Bose quantum liquids. It was supposed that the nervous system can be modeled by elementary excitations that can be handeled with the mathematical device of quantum field theory and quantum liquids, this has led to a more precise attempt at studying soliton states.
