Don’t let the snow and ice fool you – it’s time to think about gardening! If you plan to garden at Quann in 2026, and we hope you do, you must register. If you do not register, you will forfeit your plot. There is currently a waiting list of interested gardeners.
Register in-person: Join us on Saturday, March 7 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, or on Wednesday, March 11, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Goodman South Madison Library 2222 S Park St.
Register by mail: Mail the registration form and your check no later than March 5
to: Anne Perrote at 617 Olin Ave. Madison, WI 53715.

Opening Day is Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00-11:00 am. Rain date: Sunday April 26th. We need help to distribute hay and prepare the garden for the year. New gardeners are strongly encouraged to attend. Note: if you ordered more than five bales of hay, you must be present at Opening Day to help move them to your plot.
Mark your calendars for June 1– that’s the deadline for gardeners to have started work in plots, otherwise plots will be forfeited.
Getting Quann emails and announcements? If not, contact us to be added to the list at quanncommunitygarden@gmail.com.
Make 2026 the year to be more involved at Quann! Did you know our garden is completely run by volunteers? That means what we accomplish, and how the garden is run, is truly up to all of us. And we need your help! There are opportunities working with our committees to do tasks such as helping with translation, communication, registration, social events, monitoring plots, and more.
