The Queensland Bushwalkers Club provides a wide range of bushwalks and socials in the Brisbane area, the south-east Queensland region and beyond.

The Club promotes bushwalking in a friendly atmosphere while fostering appreciation and conservation of the Australian wilderness.

Meetings

Club Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month starting at 7.30PM.

Our meeting place is the Little Kings Hall, on the corner of Carl and O'Keefe Streets, Buranda.

Entry is via the gate on Carl Street with parking within the grounds and in Carl Street.

Walker Guidelines

Membership

To become a member you must be 18 years of age or over.

Covid-19 Advice


QBW conducts bushwalks, events, meetings, and associated club activities in accordance with the Qld Government's current Health Directions.

 

The health and safety of participants in QBW activities is a high priority of the club.


QBW members and visitors are to follow Government guidelines on protecting the health of themselves and others as per this Fed Govt webpage.


Recommendations

Carry hand sanitiser, a face mask and disposable gloves in your First Aid Kit on club outings.

Keep Covid and flu injections up to date.
